Vastu Shastra is 100% complete science and the rules of Vastu have been laid down for every structure in the world. Those who live in a building built by neglecting these rules suffer loss of health, wealth, fame, growth as well as may have to face sorrow and disappointments. A human builds a house and lives in it or does business in it by building a shop/office, but, in the absence of knowledge of Vastu, even after making a good structure, that house or shop does not give good results. In today’s time, we all want houses with designer or modern interiors, but we forget the rules of Vastu.

Vastu Shastra is basically the art of building the premises rightly to give positive results and benefits to its occupants. 

You must have often seen that despite all aspects being almost equal, happiness and prosperity is increasing in one person’s house, while there are problems, tensions, and shortcomings in the other person’s house. One person’s shop runs very well while the other’s does not. But why so? Its secret is hidden in Vastu Shastra itself. We all know that Earth revolves on its axis from west to east and it has two poles. One we call North Pole and the other we call South Pole. The earth itself has a gravitational force due to which the object thrown towards the sky comes back on earth. In the same way, man also has his own force, using which he attracts the powers towards him.

The human body is made up of five elements:

1. Earth

2. Sky

3. Fire

4. Air

5. Water

The whole universe is made up of these five elements. But very few people know that the buildings built by us are also made up of these five elements or we can also say that they are completely dependent on them. Without these elements life on earth is not possible. The dependence of these five elements on each other, their opposition to each other and the equation between them is beyond human intelligence. Man builds his place of work or house for living according to his convenience, but these five elements or these powers exert their influence on his life. By understanding their effect, we can avoid all the defects of Vastu by making proper design of his house or office based on these elements. The direction and arrangement of the house has a direct impact on the people living in those buildings, because the Five Elements and the directions form the basis of Vastu. Before understanding Vastu Shastra, it is very important for us to know the various directions.  There are four Main directions as below:

East Direction, West Direction, North Direction, South Direction There are four Sub directions as below:

North-East Direction, North-West Direction, South-East Direction, South-West Direction Apart from these, the four directions and four sub directions also have their own significance, about which we will talk in subsequent blogs.
